Last week Bikini Kill blessed San Francisco with two killer shows at the Warfield - it's not often that we get to see them in the Bay Area so this was definitely a treat. When they first came on stage, Kathleen Hanna introduced the band and talked about what San Francisco meant to them as a band.

The performance was energetic and captivating, each song was delivered with the fury and conviction that makes Bikini Kill who they are. They gave us a mix of fan favorites and some deep cuts. The crowd sang along in solidarity and Bikini Kill performed a fiery set that was filled with political perspectives that reminded us that Bikini Kill's passion of feminist activism remains strong.
