The Music Stops… in Los Angeles

On Saturday night (July 27th, 2024), the Belasco Theater in Los Angeles buzzed with palpable excitement as it hosted a sold-out show for jxdn's "When the Music Stops" tour - the final show of the tour’s US leg. The line stretched to get in three blocks long, a testament to the anticipation that had gripped the city. Inside, the atmosphere crackled with energy as fans eagerly awaited the night's performances from Doors, Gunnar, LØLØ, and of course, the headliner of the evening, JXDN. 

 LØLØ, whose infectious stage presence and catchy tracks, including "Hot Girls in Hell" and "Debbie Downer," set the tone for an unforgettable night. With her unique vocals and a seamless blend of pop punk and alternative rock, LØLØ was a breath of fresh air. Her debut album, “Falling for Robots and Wishing I Was One”, is now available on all streaming platforms and showcases her distinctive sound.

As the lights abruptly dimmed, the roar of the crowd reached a fever pitch, signaling jxdn's imminent arrival. When he finally appeared on stage, the energy was electric. Opening with "Stray" from his latest album, he quickly followed with "Candles" and "Friends with Benefits." It was clear that jxdn had evolved as an artist, his vocals and stage presence commanding attention in a way that was both mesmerizing and intimate. Despite the packed venue, there was an undeniable sense of closeness between him and his audience. The crowd sang along passionately, knowing every lyric by heart.

The night reached its climax with "Angels and Demons," one of jxdn's early hits, closing the show on a high note. It was a performance that not only highlighted jxdn's growth as an artist but also left an indelible mark on everyone fortunate enough to be there. “When the music stops” is now available on all streaming platforms.
