And have the time of our lives… a saying imprinted in my brain as musical artist Pitbull welcomes Bristow, V.A. to the first night of his Party After Dark Tour. With a combination of hit singles, killer graphics, and beautiful dancers, Pitbull brought an exhilarating nightclub experience to Jiffy Lube Live. 

Mr. 305, also known as Pitbull, is a rapper, singer, and songwriter based in Miami, Florida. He is well known for his collaborations with other musical artists such as Usher, T-Pain, and Enrique Iglesias. Throughout the years, he has created musical pieces that not only represent American pop culture but also the stylings of Reggaeton. 

On August 21st, 2024, Jiffy Lube Live was ready for an amazing night as many fans quickly began to arrive early afternoon. As the anticipation for the show grew, many fans tailgated outside of the gates with chairs, cuban and Mr.Worldwide flags, and loud speakers that blasted the greatest hits from the man of the hour. What caught my attention most about the fans was that most of them decided to wear a certain uniform which included bald caps, black sunglasses and suits, all representing Pitbull’s iconic style. 

As the doors opened and the crowd gathered round, the night officially began as singer/songwriter T-Pain took the stage. Including hit songs such as “Bartender” and “Buy U a Drank”, T-Pain’s incredible set warmed up the crowd for the great night ahead. Shortly after, Pitbull took the stage with flashing lights, smoke, flames, and a variety of hits that had everyone on their toes screaming for more!  

The night was truly unforgettable. It wasn’t the nostalgic feeling of hearing all the hits all over again but more so the unity it brought to the audience. No matter what language you spoke, whether it was Spanish or English or even both, each person in that room sang Pitbull’s setlist in unison while soaking in all the amazing interactions the show had to offer. Saying cheers to a great kickoff party in Bristow and to many more stops after dark!
